제 목: Justice as a Natural Virtue in Aristotle's Ethics
강연개요:
Aristotle thinks that justice is, like all the other virtues, a natuaral virtue. What does this mean? How does he accomodate its connection to and dependence upon convention, agreements, and laws - the sorts of facts that would seem to make it an "artificial" virtue in Hume's words?
강연자 소개:
Mi-Kyoung Mitzi Lee 교수는 Harvard University에서 박사학위를 받았고, University of Illinois at Chicago 교수를 거쳐 현재는 University of Colorado at Boulder의 교수로 재직중이다. 옥스포드 대학 출판부에서 Epistemology after Protagoras (2007)를 출간하였고, 역시 옥스포드 대학 출판부에서 출간된 Strategies of Argument: Essays in Ancient Ethics, Epistemology, and Logic (2014)을 편집하였고, 현재 옥스포드 대학 출판부와의 계약 하에 Justice in Aristotle's Ethics and Political Philosophy를 집필 중에 있다.
