한국아메리카학회, 서울대학교 영어영문학과, 서울대학교 미국학연구소가 공동 주최하는 Existence and Coexistence in the Age of Crises 국제학술대회가 10월 17일(금)부터 18일(토)까지 서울대학교 인문대학 4동 신양관에서 개최됩니다.
이번 학술대회는 기후 위기, 사회경제적 불평등, 인종 차별, 종교 분쟁, 테러, 전쟁 등 오늘날 우리가 직면한 다양한 위기를 이론화·역사화하고, 이러한 위기 속에서 살아가는 다양한 존재와 공존의 방식을 성찰하는 장을 마련하고자 합니다. 문학, 역사, 정치, 철학, 문화 등 여러 분야의 국내외 석학과 신진연구자들이 참석하는 본 행사에 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드립니다.

The American Studies Association of Korea, in cooperation with the Department of English Language and Literature at Seoul National University and the American Studies Institute at Seoul National University, is pleased to host the international conference “Existence and Coexistence in the Age of Crises” from October 17 (Fri) to 18 (Sat) at Shinyang Humanities Hall (Building 4), Seoul National University.
This conference seeks to theorize and historicize the multiple crises of our time—including climate change, socioeconomic inequality, racial discrimination, religious conflicts, terrorism, and war—while also providing a forum for reflection on diverse modes of existence and coexistence. We warmly invite your interest and participation in this event, which will bring together leading and emerging scholars from across literature, history, political science, philosophy, cultural studies, and related fields.
