Research
Professor Seungmoo Paik received his doctoral degree for "Study on Mikhail Bulgakov's dramaturgy" from the Institute of Russian Literature under the Russian Academy of Sciences. After his return to Korea he continued his research on Bulgakov's dramas and the Russian Silver Age, and is now expanding his research into Russian theater in general. He is particularly interested in Stanislavsky's theater theory and Meyerhold's biomechanics, and is also interested in fusing theater with psychoanalysis, brain science, and biological science
